 As told by our Founder, Jason. "Our Story begins in South Florida. I would take my children and their friends snorkeling. We enjoy it immensely, but I realized their were serious risks involved. Shark attacks, reef cuts, ands even surfboard fin cuts happen. What we started noticing was for most cases it wasn’t the injury that was fatal it was not being prepared for the emergency. Knowing these risks, it just seemed crazy not to be prepared for an emergency if it would occur. We started carrying a bandana but they would just float out of our pockets lost to the sea. We needed something that would slow or stop blood loss in those precious minutes after an accident that can determine a life-or-death situation. We wanted something easy to use and convenient to carry. Something that could essentially buy us time for medical assistance or a proper tourniquet to arrive." So we created our first version of the LifeLace necklace, very crude but effective.
